Turn Off Spam Filtering in Gmail and Yahoo Mail

Disable Spam Filter
Both Gmail and Yahoo Mail uses an effective spam filtering algorithm but these algorithms are not fail proof and they may mark a legitimate message as spam (false positive) and you won’t know about it unless you open spam folder in web mail.So when you use a POP3 client such as Outlook or Thunderbird to download your emails ,suspected spam messages will never reach your inbox or spam folder of your email client.
The only way to prevent this from occurring is to disable spam filters in Gmail and Yahoo mail and to use anti spam component of your security suite.
How to disable spam filter in Gmail :
  • Sign-in to your GMail Account.
  • Click “Create a filter” under Show search options.

  • In the Has the words textbox enter : label:spam (you can also try is:spam and in:spam)

  • Accept the warning.

  • Mark the checkbox “Never send it to Spam”

Now Gmail won’t filter your spam messages to its folder.
